History repeats itself at the 2010-2011 opening event of the UAE Professional Golfers' Association's tournament calender with Richard Sheridan returning to his past UAE form to win the first event of last season’s Order of Merit.

UAE PGA tournament season drew to a close recently with the prestigious season-ending UAE PGA Championships held at Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. Won in a thrilling pay-off by Callum Nicoll of The Els Club Dubai.

Commencing October 2009, 33 UAE PGA members commenced participating in the region's UAE PGA Matchplay, all vying for the title. The final was played at Al Badia Golf Club on May 13th with Malcolm Young, Arabian Ranches Professional, claiming victory.

The Al Ain Open, held at Palm Resort Golf Club is the 5th tournament in the 2009/2010 UAE PGA's PGA Open series. Providing UAE professionals with Order of Merit points, the UAE PGA 2009/2010 tournament calendar will host its final tournament in May.

The 6-part 2010 Al Naboodah Junior Par 3 series has drawn to a close. The series encouraging golfers, between the ages of 6 to 14 years, to play in a stroke-play format following the PGA's highly-coveted and successful Order of Merit format.

The Abu Dhabi UA PGA Open is part of the UAE PGA tournament calendar. Participants in the Open receive highly-sought after Order of Merit points dependant on their placing. The top 16 Order of Merit positions move into the season ending Dubai Trophy.

The PGA Medal forms part of the UAE PGA's Order of Merit tournament schedule. Providing valuable points for each participating PGA Member in their bid for the 2009/2010 UAE Professional Golfers' Association's Order of Merit title.

The Patrons' Cup is a 4-part series in the UAE PGA tournament Calendar, sponsored by Acuma Wealth Management, Al Naboodah, Auriga and TNT. The series is open to UAE-residing Amateur and Professional golfers. The final was held Wednesday March 3rd.

Annual Middle East Golfer awards recently recognised the UAE PGA's Junior Series, sponsored by the Al Naboodah Group, as the Best New Initiative for 2009. The series allows and encourages Juniors to experience playing in a professional tournament.

The Sharjah PGA Open is an event in the UAE Professional Golfer's Association's tournament calendar, and integral in the 2009/2010 UAE PGA Order of Merit. Open to PGA members residing and working in the UAE the event provides valuable OOM Points.

Results of the 4th event, of a 5-part series, in the UAE PGA's Par 3 Junior Golf series, sponsored by Al Naboodah. Solely managed by the UAE PGA to develop the junior golfer in the region and expose them to professional run and managed tournaments.
