Tanzanian poet and musician Ras Nas aka Nasibu Mwanukuzi releases his third album, Double Focus in Oslo Norway in November. Recorded at Urban Sound studio the CD brings together musicians from Mali, South Africa, Norway, Bangladesh and Brazil.

Mandingo Trio is to perform at Smeltedigelen Jazz and Blues Festival in Mo i Rana, Norway, 12th October this year. The trio, fuses the sounds of ancient and modern Africa in a way that is has been described by critics as groundbreaking.
