The federal government’s first-time homebuyer program which gives $8,000 worth of credit toward the purchase of a new home, is nearing the end.

The tax credit allowed first time home buyers acquiring their owner occupied with a florida fha loan to receive a tax credit of up to $8,000.

To qualify for the $8,000 government tax credit you must close on your Merrill Place property on or before November 30, not the added $8,000 incentive offered by Merrill Place

Now this first time buyer incentive is ending as of December 1st of 2009. Since economic indicators are beginning to turn favorable it is not likely that this program will be extended past the December mark.
