The Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association (AFAA) will host its annual Food Allergy Awareness Walk on March 20, 2010 at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Anaphylaixs & Food Allergy Association (AFAA) are partnering to raise awareness of the severity & increase in food allergies, and to accommodate food allergic fans.

Minnesota Twins Offers Skybox for Allergic Fans

According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), up to 5% of Americans are at risk for a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction from insect stings. Allergic individuals will need to take precautions.

Most people would rather not know what goes into the corndog they consume at the summer carnival. But for the 12 million Americans with food allergies, awareness of ingredients is a must for safely eating their way through summer events.

Food Allergy Conference & Expo, April 4 at the University of Minnesota. Linda Coss: keynote speaker. Other presenters:, gastroenterologists, dietitians, and food allergy and celiac leaders. The expo will feature 30+ companies.

Accomplished teen musician - pianist Reed Tetzloff - will perform a benefit concert to raise funds and awareness for food allergies. Reed has multiple, life-threatening food allergies.
