The second annual drive held by the mixed use community in Southwest Charlotte resulted in 1,168 Toys being donated this year. Despite the difficult economic times, over 2,000 toys have been donated in the last two years.

With One Week Left In Ayrsley's Toys For Tot's Toy Drive, coordinators still hope to hit their goal of 1000 Toys.

Ayrsley looks to surpass 1000 donated toys as they start the 2011 Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

Though the drive officially ended on December 4, Ayrsley continued to take donations until the final Toys for Tots Pick up on December 10. With the additional time, Ayrsley received 247 additional toys bring the total donation to 917.

As the returns are coming in on Ayrsley's Toy Drive, residents, businesses and visitors have donated over 500 toys as of 12:00 pm today.
