Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs, Hon. George Pullicino, has today visited one of the outlets participating in the National Battery Buster Campaign, which is managed by WasteServ Malta Ltd and sponsored and supported by FIMBank p.l.c.

A Battery Buster Van is currently doing the rounds of supermarkets and other outlets collecting used batteries deposited by consumers in special bins as part of the Battery Buster Campaign.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, FIMBank plc sponsored and supported a major initiative designed to raise awareness amongst students about the impact batteries have on our health and environment when disposed of incorrectly.
