Keeping Us Safe has unveiled its newest educational program titled “Driving Under the Influence of Dementia”. Created by a retired State Trooper, this program is being made available (at no cost) to law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Keeping Us Safe will be holding its inaugural west coast “Beyond Driving with Dignity’ training and certification course in the greater Los Angeles area on March 1, 2012. This is the first time the course has been offered in California.

Their unified goal is to contribute to the safety and independence of seniors who should no longer be driving by educating eldercare professionals to effectively address this pervasive and growing challenge.
