Melbourne Chamber Orchestra's exciting 2013 season to be announced 9th October, 2012

Britten's Third Quartet and Works from Beethoven to Salonen Highlight an Eclectic Season of Chamber Music.

Flutist Peter H. Bloom & pianist/harpist Mary Jane Rupert, who tour the globe as the duo “2”, will perform Bach to the Future, vivid chamber music by J.S. Bach, Saint-Saëns, Copland and Elizabeth Vercoe, a leading 21st century American composer.

Mission Chamber Orchestra of San Jose’s annual concert features three flavors of Portuguese music: classical, modern and the “music of the street".

These young musicians, ages 13 to 16 have raised money for Haiti Relief, Make A Wish Foundation, and now seek help those who can't afford music lessons by holding a benefit concert for the Pasadena Conservatory of music. You won't believe your ears.

Ensemble Chaconne (Peter H. Bloom, baroque flute; Carol Lewis, viola da gamba; Olav Chris Henriksen, lute/English guitar) will perform at London’s National Gallery May 11, 2012; at Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury May 12; and in other venues.

Ancient and contemporary works theme for concert featuring guitarist Marc Teicholtz and composer Lee Actor

The program includes works by Dvořák, Ravel and Vaughan Williams that effectively blend choir and orchestra to great effect. Soloist Roger Wright will be playing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto no. 1.
