The CPSC continues to issue guidance on several areas of theCPSIA, which requires all children's products to be tested by 3rd party labs. Except for toys made by Mattel, who recalled 12.7 million toys for safety hazards or lead paint since 2007.

As the CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Information Act) goes into effect, which self-publishing POD firms are in compliance with the new regulations, and which ones are not?

The CPSC issued guidance today on the tracking label requirements of the CPSIA. This statement of policy and enforcement comes just 3 weeks before manufacturers will be required to begin marking their products with batch tracking labels.
