To celebrate the Valentine’s Day, Operation Kindness is offering $25 off all pet adoptions February 9-14. Help a dog, cat, puppy or kitten experience freedom in their new forever home.

Operation Kindness – had a banner year in 2012, adopting out 3,164 animals. The 2012 adoption numbers were the highest in the shelter’s 36-year history, and they were more than 10% greater than in 2011.

A beautiful black-and-white, domestic short-haired mix, Al “Scarface” Pacino is one of more than 70 adult cats waiting to be adopted from Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas.

Currently Operation Kindness has 70 adult cats that are ready to go to a forever home. Visit Operation Kindness, located at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006, and help an adult cat find their new forever home.

Operation Kindness is pleased to announce the grand opening of Bear’s Den, a kennel area dedicated exclusively for large breed dogs, on March 28, 2012. The special shelter was made possible by a generous $250,000 donation from Norma Carney.
