During Greenbuild 2009, Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon presided over the dedication and ribbon cutting of the first National Green Building Standard Emerald-certified remodeled home in the United States from Green Street Development.

Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon will officiate in the ribbon cutting of the first NAHB Emerald-certified home in the US, a project by Phoenix-based Green Street Development, on Nov 13, to coincide with the Greenbuild 2009 Summit.

Green Street Development, the organization behind several of the nation’s first LEED and NAHB certified residential remodels, is the only private organization to feature three tour stops within the Greenbuild official tour schedule.
