Fall colors are peaking in the Cascade Mountains and a new forest service trail to Beckler Peak just a few miles east of Skykomish has great fall color as well as sweeping views with the mountain peaks touched with the first snowfall of the season.

“We flew over both parks this past weekend and noticed colors were in full force around the Huron River and along the shorelines, anywhere the sun hits the trees from top to bottom," says hot air balloonist Scott Lorenz of Plymouth, Michigan.

Michigan’s glorious fall colors are a welcome sight but Flying OVER the fall colors in a hot air balloon is the best says Scott Lorenz, President and Chief Pilot of Westwind Balloon Company of Plymouth, Michigan
