SEATROUT SEASON OPENS ON SUNDAY! If you live in the southern part of Florida, dust off your seatrout tackle. The season opens on Sunday, January 1.

A Mosquito Lagoon/Indian River Lagoon Show and Tell Fishing Seminar is scheduled on November 5. Show and Tell Seminars are all-day fishing seminars with the express goal of helping you catch more and bigger fish in the Mosquito Lagoon.

Central Florida fly fishermen want to know how to catch more and bigger fish. At noontime on May 7 a free fly tying seminar at Mosquito Creek Outdoors in Apopka will help them do just that.

The American Shad run in Florida's St. Johns River will peak in the next few weeks. Now is the time to make time to go fish for them. By about April 1 the bulk of the run will be over.
