George Chmiel Reports on Day One of the Australian Ultra-Marathon

George Chmiel has thousands of families throughout the country in tears as he relays why he is sacrificing so much for ill children.

Expected to be a landmark event and an extremely competitive ultra marathon, George Chmiel is prepped to run his second (in only 6 months) 150+ mile race in the treacherous outback of Australia on April 25th.

Thousands of people are now following the effort of George Chmiel of Boston, who is currently ranked 6th in a field of very experienced marathon runners in the 2009 4Deserts Sahara Race.

Fox 25 in Boston reports on Merrill Lynch's, George Chmiel's Sahara Desert Race. Chmiel leaves for Egypt Wednesday.
