The Conejo Valley YMCA is holding its annual "Healthy Kids Day" on Saturday, April 27 with activities designed to improve the health and well-being of families and to help them get a jump on creating a healthier summer.

Families will be able to participate in a variety of free outdoor activities, games and crafts during the Simi Valley Family YMCA "Healthy Kids Day," Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the Simi Valley Street Fair.

The Conejo Valley YMCA and Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park are celebrating YMCA Healthy Kids Day, Saturday, April 28. The annual event is designed to bring attention to healthy lifestyle choices for children and families.

On April 9, the Miller Family YMCA is encouraging all kids and parents in Newbury Park, Moorpark and Thousand Oaks to come to the Y for a play date and commit to being active every day. It’s all part of the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.

Over 100 children participated in the fourth annual Triunfo YMCA/Westlake Village Soap Box Derby.
