Waste King Limited based in Hemel Hempstead, has taken the first step towards becoming a National Green Hero, by winning a major Green Apple Award in the national campaign to find Britain’s greenest companies.

The specialist waste and recycling management company, Waste King Limited, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has recently increased its charitable support by partnering with the British Heart Foundation.

At the age of 48, Billy Lewis suffered a stroke and was told he would probably not survive brain surgery. He did but was told he would never walk again. He did and now he's still motoring almost thirty years later, having bought 11 news cars since.
