On a month on month comparison, hiring activity dipped for all key sectors barring Construction and Pharma. Among all metros, positive hiring was witnessed only in Kolkata with hiring activity picking up by 15% in Nov-12 when compared to Oct-12.

According to the survey by recruitment tendering platform MyHiringClub.com, the country's net employment outlook, an indicator of recruitment intentions, rose by 2% points to 40 per cent in Q4,FY'13 reflecting a positive environment for job seekers.

The Naukri Job Speak index witnesses stable hiring levels consecutively for the last five months.

Among 112 surveyed cities Pune & Chandigarh is leading with 26% in H1, 2012 hiring outlook followed by Ahmedabad (22%), Lucknow (21%) and Jaipur (18%) in Top 5 list of cities.
