Canadian Ice Fishing Championship is thrilled to have the product sponsorship of HT Enterprises, the largest manufacturer of ice fishing equipment.

SnoBear USA, a leading manufacturer of snow-track vehicles and a prominent name within the ice fishing community, announces that they will be exhibiting their products for the first time at the Minnesota State Fair starting Thursday, August 23rd.

The International Federation of Sport Fishing has granted membership to Canadian Freshwater International Fishing Federation to represent Canada in their international tournaments.

Unusually mild conditions not seen since 2002 require a change to two days of Perch fishing, with no Big Fish Day or scoring of big fish. Safety is our foremost concern, along with presenting zones that give reasonably uniform fishing for every team.

Normark Canada is providing their "Ice Claws" safety ice picks to the competitors of the 18th Annual Canadian Ice Fishing Championship. Their use will be demonstrated by award winning outdoor writer and seminar presenter Wil Wegman.

Contestants take home over $33,000 in cash and prizes from the ice fishing championship on Lake Simcoe, Ontario.

The Town of Georgina is once again providing the Canadian Ice Fishing Championship (CIFC) with financial support and also with the First Place team trophies for the 19th Annual CIFC.
