To improve and address the need for experienced guidance - on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 the IMC Clubs appointed Doug Stewart, Master CFI and Chairman of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (safepilots.org), to its Board of Directors.

As the aviation community mourns the loss of renowned flight instructor Joseph W. Benkert, the IMCClubs.org has honored Joe’s legacy by initiating a petition to rename Norwood Airport to the “Joseph W. Benkert Memorial Airport.”
