The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society is now accepting photos of adorable local cats and kittens for their 2012 calendar. The donations received for this calendar will go to benefit one of the largest no-kill shelters in Massachusetts.

This summer several thousand cats and kittens will be euthanized in shelters due to lack of space or homes. The solution to solving this problem is to get every kitten spayed or neutered by the time they are four months old.
