Emmy nominated filmmaker Steven Fischer is the inaugural subject for a new on-line interview series from CINE called "The CINE Profile Series”. In February 2008, Fischer won the CINE Special Jury Award for Freedom Dance.

Freedom Dance, an animated documentary re-telling an inspiring escape from Communist Hungary to the US in 1956, has won a CINE Golden Eagle Award.
