BIG ARTS welcomes Dr. Michael A. Levi to Sanibel Sunday, January 22, to speak about the future of energy. Lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. in BIG ARTS Schein Performance Hall, 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Florida. Tickets are $35.

BIG ARTS has announced Dr. Jay Apt, of Carnegie Mellon University (Mar. 17); Joshua Foer, author of the best-selling Moonwalking with Einstein (Mar 21); and Dr. Anthony Ritaccio, of Albany Medical College Human Brain Mapping Program (Apr. 12).

Tom Hogan, an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut in Torrington, will provide an engaging ethical and judical lecture as well as open discussion regarding the film, The Verdict.

Author Loreen Niewenhuis, who walked the perimeter of Lake Michigan beginning on Navy Pier in 2009, makes appearances in Madison, WI, and Chicago, IL, December 2011 to showcase her bestselling book “A 1000-Mile Walk on the Beach”
