Some of the deeper self-truths appeared to be universal in nature, and it was not long before they began to resemble poetry. It was years before I started referring to them as poems. I now have somewhere near 1200 of them, on all sorts of subjects.

Racine author and Zen teacher Anton Somlai will give a talk at Sheepish in Racine, WI at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 about his new book, "Peace Vigil – Living Without Hesitation."
