The NephCure Foundation will be holding Fort Myers’ first NephCure Walk on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at 10 a.m. (9:30 a.m. registration) at Lakes Regional Park, Shelter D-1.

The NephCure Foundation is sponsoring a drive to help pitch in & save the environment which has gained stong headlines in news recently. Proceeds benefit NephCure the only organization dedicated to finding a cause & cure for two kidney conditions.

The NephCure Foundation is hosting a recycling program for the duration of the summer. Residents can drop off spare cell phones and used ink cartridges in local businesses. Proceeds benefit the fight against Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS.
