February 22nd is Spay Day, a national campaign of the Humane Society of the United States to educate pet owners on the importance of spaying and neutering. DHA’s Spay/Neuter Program provides low cost spay/neuter for cats and dogs year round.

Vicky’s Pet Connection, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based, non-profit animal rescue group, is paying the spay/neuter fee for all cats adopted from the Kent County Animal Shelter in Grand Rapids, Monday, February 14 through Saturday, February 19.
