WAREHAM December 12, 2012 -- Nexus Martial Arts LLC (DBA Nexus Martial Arts & Fitness) has been selected for the 2012 Best of Wareham Award in the Martial Arts Training category by the Wareham Award Program.

The Nexus Martial Arts & Fitness youth and adult competition teams finished up a winning late Summer and Fall season, with success in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts.

With a squad of just over 20 students, Nexus Martial Arts & Fitness takes home well over 40 medals at the North American Grappling Association's East Coast Grappling Championships. NAGA is the largest tournament organization in the Northeast.

Nexus Martial Arts & Fitness owner and chief instructor, Stephen Whittier, was a featured instructor at the 2013 SBG International martial arts training camp, held this year in Kalispell, Montana.
