Grammy Award winner Béla Fleck returns to Caramoor this summer with the Marcus Roberts Trio on Saturday, August 4 at 8:00pm in the Venetian Theater.

Featuring the American premiere of Rossini's Ciro in Babilonia in collaboration with the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Italy on July 7 at 8:30pm and Bellini's I Capuleti ed i Montecchi on July 21 at 8:30pm.

Caramoor International Music Festival presents Pablo Heras-Casado's debut as the Principal Conductor of the Orchestra of St. Luke's, joined by guest pianist Emauel Ax on Sunday, July 15th at 4:30pm in the Venetian Theater.

Caramoor proudly welcomes the Harlem Gospel Choir and The Lee Boys on Sunday, August 5 at 4:30 PM for a program of joyous music. Closing the 2012 festival season, the energetic and spiritual program can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

As part of its ongoing effort to reach a large and diverse regional audience, West Michigan Symphony will present two free outdoor concerts on Thursday, Aug. 23, in Fremont, and Friday, Aug. 24, in Spring Lake. Both concerts start at 7 p.m.

The American Roots Music Festival, a celebration of bluegrass, folk, country blues and gospel music, returns to Caramoor on June 30. Hot Tuna Acoustic, comprised of Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady and Barry Mitterhoff, David Bromberg Quartet, headline.

Michael Barrett, CEO and General Director of Caramoor Center for Music & the Arts, announced that Judy Evnin has stepped down as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, to become Caramoor’s Chairman Emerita. Evnin’s successor is James A. Attwood, Jr.
