Turning three this year, the Las Vegas underground film festival is looking to put on its biggest, baddest and best incarnation yet and will include the first ever PollyGrind Group Art Show.

The free Las Vegas event will celebrate with the legendary cult filmmaker's non official sequel to Streets of Fire. Other highlights will be Zombiepalooza, The Disco Exorcist with more to be announced. PollyGrind will also feature a film competition.

While blood, nudity and scares will be aplenty at the Second Annual PollyGrind Film Festival, founder and director Chad Clinton Freeman says there is so much more to the event.

Spotlights in the sky will mark the event when monsters, zombies and creatures wander the crowd as theatre7 owner Derek Stonebarger and the venue's programmer Chad Clinton Freeman throw a block party to celebrate art, film, music, and Halloween.

Greg Lamberson’s Slime City Massacre won The Biggest Baddest Mother of the PollyGrind, which was the top jury award, while Jen and Sylvia Soska’s Dead Hooker in a Trunk was voted favorite feature by the audience.

The event gets underway this Wednesday and runs until May 16 at the Sci-Fi Center (2520 State Street) in Las Vegas.
