On January 29-31, 2013 SGS will participate in the enertec International Trade Fair for Energy Generation, Distribution and Storage in Leipzig, Germany and demonstrate its wide portfolio of renewable energy services at stand 4D30.

From June 29-30, 2010, SGS attends the RenewableUK Offshore Wind 2010 Conference and Exhibition in Liverpool, United Kingdom. At stand no. 85, SGS will present its wide portfolio of services for the wind energy sector.

In May 2008, SGS began with Project Certification services for Borkum West II offshore wind farm. Project Certification offered by SGS enables wind farm owners to obtain necessary approvals and meet international and local standards.

On September 23, 2009, the SGS Wind Competence Center provided Norderland Projekt GmbH with Statement of Compliance (SoC) for the design basis of their two offshore wind farms – Northern Energy Global Tech II and Northern Energy Global Tech III.
