Ras Nas aka Nasibu Mwanukuzi has received the Red Carpet Award 2010 Tanzania for best solo artist. The annual Award is given by Smiling Faces Company to different personalities in recognition to their contribution in the etertainment industry

Tanzanian poet and musician Ras Nas aka Nasibu Mwanukuzi releases his third album, Double Focus in Oslo Norway in November. Recorded at Urban Sound studio the CD brings together musicians from Mali, South Africa, Norway, Bangladesh and Brazil.
