In recognition of his work in connection with improving the sound insulation performance of new homes, Dave Baker, of Robust Details Ltd and formerly Technical Director of the HBF, has been awarded an OBE for services to the Construction Industry.

He has helped reduce noise complaints in new homes fourfold and turned the UK into a world leader in sound insulation performance through the use of robust details. Now Dave Baker, CEO of Robust Details Ltd, has been awarded an honorary doctorate.
