The new owners of a north-east distillery, where whisky production is due to restart after 22 years, have launched an appeal for historical information about the plant.

The iconic Glenglassaugh Whisky Distillery, after a month of its acquisition by the Scaent Group, has successfully collected the necessary management staff and generated several new jobs and is now ready to commence the refurbishment works.

The Scaent Group has changed its supplier of electricity on the Kola Peninsula and has signed a long-term contract with Inter RAO UES for the export of electricity generated by TGC-1, the third largest energy generating company in Russia.

The Board of Directors of SKM Market Predictor, the Scaent Group’s recently acquired Norwegian subsidiary, held a meeting during the last week to discuss and review the SKM development strategy and future prospects within new target markets.
