The 2nd phase of the NYS Electronic Equipment Recycling & Reuse Act took effect January 1, 2012..

Over 1 million pounds of residential TV’s, computers, monitors, printers, scanners, mice, keyboards and other electronic equipment have been responsibly recycled and diverted from waste streams within New York State by Sunnking Inc.

Sunnking Electronics Recycling is the first and only facility in NYS to achieve R2 (Responsible Recycling) Certification. The certification was granted right around the same time that the new NYS electronics recycling law took effect.
