The ISC-Audubon Celebrity Golf Tournament was the first of its kind, and was one part of the not-for-profit organizations efforts aimed at making people aware of sustainability and to encourage people to get outdoors and enjoy nature.

The International Sustainability Council (ISC) and the Audubon Network for Sustainability is pleased to announce the inaugural ISC-Audubon EcoGolf Celebrity Tournament being held April 5-7 at the Westin Diplomat Golf Club in Hollywood, Florida.

By joining as a Platinum Member, Nicklaus Design has joined the growing network of businesses, municipalities, non-profits and others who are actively showing their support of Audubon Lifestyles and The International Sustainability (ISC-Audubon).

Audubon Lifestyles is coordinating the project at the Scotland Yards Golf Club which is aimed at implementing sustainable management practices on a golf facility.

The Jumping Brook Country Club recently joined Audubon Lifestyles and the International Sustainability Council as a Platinum Member.

The Winchester Country Club recently joined Audubon Lifestyles and the International Sustainability Council as a Platinum Member to participate in the Sustainable Golf Facility Program.

As a Platinum Member, TPC Scottsdale has joined a growing network of golf facilities who are actively showing their support of Audubon Lifestyles and ISC.

Through participation in the Sustainable Golf Facility Program, Audubon Lifestyles staff will assist the PGA Golf Club’s managers and staff to complete the program requirements and gain recognition as an international model of sustainability.

Through participation in the Audubon Lifestyles Sustainable Golf Facility Program the Reserve at Lake Keowee is currently working through program requirements to gain recognition as a national model of sustainability.

Joining as a Pilot Member of the Audubon Lifestyles Program, the Rim Golf Club is leading by example. Through participation in the program, the Rim Golf Club is working towards becoming a national model of sustainability for golf courses.

SGD and AL believes that now is the time for the golf course industry to embrace the leadership opportunities associated with both insuring a sustainable future for the game of golf, and also for our planet.

Audubon Lifestyles will waive the $500 registration fee required to join the program to the first golf facility in each of the fifty states within the United States, each Province in Canada, and each Country in the rest of the world.

To help continue and build upon efforts already established, Audubon Lifestyles now seeks commitments from Strategic Partners and Pilot Members to help promote, and spread information about the Audubon Lifestyles Sustainable Golf Facility program.

Audubon Lifestyles, a non-profit sustainability focused education organization, has completed development of a program geared towards assisting those seeking to become models of sustainability at their golf facilities.
