From December 17 through December 27, 2012, the World Animal Awareness Society will be accepting videos from Animal based nonprofit Youtube Channels and the submission with the most votes will win a $10,000 grant to promote their organization.

World Animal Awareness Society's first wave of volunteers have begun training as documenters/spotters for oiled or injured wildlife in the Gulf. The team will collect visual data, as well as act as "spotters" of affected wildlife.
