New documentary, Makers: Women Who Make America, comes to WEDU on February 26, 2013

WEDU’s local monthly series, A Gulf Coast Journal with Jack Perkins, recently received a $125,000 grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation to support the ninth season with six new episodes beginning in January of 2012.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored WEDU with twenty Suncoast Regional Emmy® Award nominations – more than any other public or commercial television station in the region and the most ever for WEDU.

WEDU hosts filmmaker Abigail Disney on October 26th for a film screening and discussion on Women, War & Peace as part of the onging PBS series. The event is open and free to the public. RSVP is required.
