A guided retreat entitled “The Wisdom of God,” will be held at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center from 5:30 pm (Dinner) Saturday, August 15th to 10 am Saturday, August 22nd.

Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center presents “Summer Drumming Workshop” with John Marshall on Saturday, July 18th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Susan Iadone and the Recorder Workshop faculty will give a benefit performance Medieval Recorder music in honor of the 60th anniversary of Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center on Thursday, June 18th from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

Pauline Sasaki will give a lecture entitled, “A New Paradigm for Health: Energy and Human Touch” at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center on Saturday, June 27th from 1 to 2 pm.

Marie Bostwick, a New York Times best-selling author, will lead a workshop at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center entitled “Writing from Memory: For Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Friends.” It will be held on May 9th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

A prayer service based on the worship of the Taizé Community in France will be held at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, April 3rd. The program will be led by Helen Falcone of Southbury, CT.

While certainty is valued, it is the unknown that generates creativity and evolution. The workshop will focus on the role of the unknowable in chaos, in the creative process and in life. It promises to be a feast for the mind.

“Simplify Your Life,” a program that explores the effects of simplicity on daily living, will take place at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 28th.

As preparation for the season of Christmas, Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center will present “Imagine Incarnation” on Saturday December 13th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

A program entitled “The Grace of Letting Go,” will take place at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center on Saturday, September 27th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

A "Contemplative Living Weekend" will take place at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center from Friday, September 12, at 6 pm (Dinner) to Sunday, September 14th at 1 pm.

Next year will be the 60th anniversary of Wisdom House as a center of spirituality, education and the arts. Beginning as a center to train women to become nuns , Wisdom House evolved into an interfaith retreat and conference center.
