G39, the artist-run venue for contemporary art, has some very exciting plans afoot. After 13 years in our current building we will be relocating later this year.

Poets MIKE JENKINS and THAER AL-SHAYEI perform their latest work at the Poetry on Tap reading series in its new home, the Old Orleans, 19 Church St (off High St) on Sunday, 16 May, 2pm.

Poets JASMINE DONAHAYE and GEMMA JUNE HOWELL read as part of International Women’s Day Wales celebrations on Sunday, 14 March, 2pm, at the Poetry on Tap reading series, at the Promised Land, Windsor Place (off Queen St).

Poets CLARE POTTER and DUNCAN McGIBBON read at Poetry on Tap on Sunday, 14 February, 2pm at the Promised Land, Windsor Place, Cardiff.

Poets LLOYD ROBSON & AMY WACK share their latest work at Poetry on Tap, Cardiff’s newest monthly poetry/spoken word series

“Wales: Two Heroes and Treasures”, written and directed by BAFTA award winning actor Ifan Huw Dafydd will be premiered at Portland, OR, at the inaugural Left Coast Eisteddfod 21-22 August 2009.
