Camps International has an aim of providing a gap year holiday experience that ensures the practices of responsible tourism are up held yet also still an extremely rewarding experience for all visitors.

Camp Kenya holds an agreement with the primary school in Makongeni and the community for a three year development programme, which is represented by local chiefs and Kenyan government officials.

Over the first few months Camp Kenya visited the centre a number of times to discuss Camp Kenya’s involvement in rehabilitating the centre and building an entirely new classroom and sanitary facility.
