Drivers' Group slams amateurs who pose as road safety & driving experts in the media. 'In a life & death issue, is it wise for media to just approach commentators for reasons of their title only? This is highly dangerous' says Drivers' Protest Union.

Drivers' Protest Union, (D.P.U) Simplifies the affect of speed in road accidents in a new report. 'There are only three legal states of speed' says the D.P.U. 'So there is no need to dangerously confuse and complicate the issue.'

In just one week several drivers have been placed under arrest across the Uk for simply being involved in an accident. Drivers' Protest Union (D.P.U.), asks why?

As D.P.U, predicted the recent media focus on fuel prices has been a temporary diversion from more effective action and pump prices will hardly change. Drivers need to take effective action and be prepared to make fair deals on a range of issues.

Driver's Protest Union claims that recent police announcements to prosecute less drivers in favour of more driver training are increasing the coercion of safe drivers.

The driver's group Drivers Protest Union says that the current focus on fuel costs is a One Trick Pony and a temporary diversion from other serous injustice faced by UK's drivers.

Britain's roads, damaged and ruined by the recent cold weather, will never be fixed says Lincolnshire County Council. 'Road safety begins and ends between the tyre & the road so people will die'. says a leading road safety expert.

UK's Private and off duty drivers are urged to take part in a peaceful and very simple protest against fuel costs and other driver injustices on the weekend of the 28th January & to avoid all retail parks and city centres who depend on car users.

In a poll run by ABD East Midlands %75 said traffic cops are experts in driving and road safety whilst none thought that politicians, speed camera makers or charities like BRAKE or PACTS are.

A weekend of driver protest action has been called for the 7th 8th & 9th January. Against 200% Tax mark-up on fuel, Parking fines, prosecution of safe drivers, and flawed and dangerous road safety policy.
