Brugal Rum and Wet Paint Productions made history on 27th and 28th November as they brought street art to Covent Garden for the first time in over 20 years.

Brighton-based urban art and graffiti event, ‘The Beautiful and The Canned’ returns this year to hit the city centre with a two day paint jam as fifty artists take to the streets in and around Jubilee Square and the North Laine.

When is a bus not a bus? When it is a work of art! Residents of Brightons may feel their eyes are deceiving them as they witness monsters on bicycles and dogs in pinstripe suits on the side of local, environmentally-friendly Big Lemon buses.

A Single Kiss will be sold at auction on 14 December 2009. The Kiss will be given after a year of abstinence and will be customised accordingly and delivered worldwide. A new and exciting spin on the meanings of a Kiss!!

‘The Beautiful and the Canned’ is a two day street art event that will showcase over forty local, national and international artists including Pure Evil, Hutch and Hop Louie as part of the Brighton Fringe on 16th and 17th May.

National Storytelling Week It is held during the first week of February, and at least one of those storytellers, award winning Madeleine Grove, is going to be performing at the first UK divorce fair in Brighton on 15th March 2009.

A new and highly controversial artist Paul Baines is set to be the next big name in the UK arts industry. His works feature celebrity icons and recent news footage and have a dark underside of social comment.
