Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa in the Wirral has fought off national competition to win a prestigious Good Spa Award.

Thornton Hall Hotel’s award-winning restaurant The Lawns is celebrating after being given the highest score in The Mersey Partnership’s Taste Liverpool scheme.

THORNTON Hall Hotel is launching a new fine dining experience at its award-winning restaurant The Lawns. The launch of the Private Dining rooms and an exquisite new menu coincides with the arrival of Executive Chef David Gillmore.

Dave Had a spell as Head Chef at the hotel between March 2006 and January 2007 before leaving to become Senior Sous Chef at The Grosvenor Hotel and Spa in Chester.

THORNTON Hall Hotel has been chosen by The R&A as its headquarters when The Open Championships returns to Wirral in 2014.
