Set for Saturday, September 17, the Boom Days Heritage Celebration, now in its sixth year, hits the streets for a celebration of all things Fort Payne, as well as chance to bring talent and culture from elsewhere to the mountaintop town.

Labor Day weekend at the Hangout goes Cajun featuring an authentic Cochon de Lait Pig Roast and FREE concerts all weekend long.

As summer winds down, two mountaintop towns located in DeKalb County, Ala. are gearing up for annual events attracting visitors from across the region.
