Alaskan artist launches online art gallery featuring art “telling the stories of Alaska through the eyes of Alaskans.”

Award-winning Alaskan publisher and photographer Kathleen Menke announces the release of her new photo book "Spirits of the North--Two-legged, Four-legged, Winged, Finned, Rooted and Flowing."

Oh yes this is another perfect time to select the best photographer in Toronto. However, things haven’t changed a lot through the recent years.

Twenty-nine nonprofits that provide a wide range of benefits to Alaskans were selected for a collective $11,971,325 investment by Rasmuson Foundation.

Executives from tribes and nonprofits are eligible to apply for the 2009 Rasmuson Foundation Sabbatical Program. The postmark deadline for applications is Oct. 1, 2008.
