The U.S. Soccer Foundation, the Major Charitable Arm of Soccer in the United States announced on February 3, 2012 that it awarded sixty grants totaling $2.4 million to non-profit organizations serving at-risk youth in twenty states.

The U.S. Soccer Foundation, with the support of D.C. United Women, will set up a mini-pitch at the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo to get children active using the sport of soccer. Children will also have the opportunity to meet D.C. United Women.
