Palmetto Ranch is an income-sensitive, independent-living community designed specifically for the needs of individuals with physical disabilities. It is Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida's first housing community in Hendry County.

Florida Community Bank, a division of Premier American Bank N.A. recently presented the Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Project with a check for $1,500. The Community Reinvestment Funds will help program graduates with the cost of course materials.

The Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise project celebrated nine graduates at a ceremony in LaBelle, Florida. The MicroEnterprise project is a joint partnership between several Southwest Florida nonprofit agencies.

"Palmetto Ranch," a fourteen-unit apartment complex for people with disabilities, ceremonially opened its doors on Thursday, January 21 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by residents, community leaders, and representatives of Goodwill.

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida will cut the ribbon on its thirteenth housing complex in Southwest Florida on Thursday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. Phase one of Palmetto Ranch provides 14 apartment units designed for people with disabilities.

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is accepting applications for Palmetto Ranch, a LaBelle apartment complex. Applicants must have a medically certified disability in order to qualify for residency in these income-subsidized apartments.
