Goodwill Industries’ sixth annual Festival of Trees, presented by FineMark National Bank & Trust, opens November 23, 2012 at the historic Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers.

Local business owner and philanthropist Earl Hodges will be speaking at the November 15th Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise program graduation. Hodges will deliver the commencement address to 15 aspiring entrepreneurs.

On Tuesday, October 23, Sen. Lizbeth Benacquisto (R-27) will visit Trailways Camp. The camp, which is for adults with disabilities, is a partnership between Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and The Robert V. and Benjamin G. Miller Fund.

Most donations to Goodwill come in the form of clothing, housewares, electronics, and vehicles. However, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida just received a more unique donation-- an elevator-style wheelchair lift.

SunTrust Bank presented The Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute with a $15,000 check on March 8, 2013 at the Goodwill headquarters in North Fort Myers.
