Beaulieu of America, the nation’s 3rd largest carpet mill, has announced additional changes as it prepares for 2012. Ralph Boe, president and CEO announced that Jeff Meadows, CMO and James Lesslie, COO have left the company effective immediately.

In Beaulieu of America’s on-going commitment to streamline operations and off-set higher raw materials and transportation costs, the company will close down its Eufaula, Alabama yarn processing facility that it has operated since 1998.

Beaulieu of America officials announced today the reduction of operations at its Dalton Model Plant, effective January 2, 2012. Approximately 150 Beaulieu associates could be affected.Tufting and dying operations at Model Plant will be phased-out

Continued reduced sales brought on by a struggling economy has led Beaulieu to cease production by year’s end at its Riverbend facility in Dalton, Georgia. It has been part of Beaulieu since 1988, employs 170, and makes tufted and finished carpet.

Company officials at Beaulieu of America carpet company were pleased to announce today the securing of $230,000,000 in loan refinancing. The new loan refinances the existing loan agreement and provides additional liquidity for continued expansion.
