After great success with his first book, Brian Kittrell is marching forward with a bit of a stagger and a groan. His first zombie novel has broken into the thousands of sales, and he has released the second book in a rather quick time frame.

MG Hardie's new book has been turning heads as it takes literature in a new direction. With It Ain't Just The Size, Hardie does something thought unthinkable--give the readers their money's worth.

The SCHF is partnering with downtown local bookstore, Lorelei Books, to present “A Katrina Retrospect”, a program dedicated to the impacts of Hurricane Katrina. This event will be held on Saturday, August 21 from 2pm-4pm in the SCH Auditorium.

New projects coming to Central Mississippi during the summer.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation welcomes Michael Garrett, an internationally published author, as he presents a series of five writer workshops that will give you a jump start into the next level of writing.

Ametha Williams author of, "Confessions of A Twenty-Something Virgin" has just published her fourth book,"In The Valley:A Collection of Poems".

Ellis will present a lecture on his book Honky Tonk Angel. There will also be Patsy Cline musical tribute performances throughout the evening . This event will be held at the SCHF Auditorium on Friday, June 13th at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The New York Times bestselling author will present a lecture on her books, life and art at the SCHF Auditorium on Tuesday, July 15th 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the program.
