Announcing The Grand Opening Of Merge Dance Studio In The Manayunk Section Of Philadelphia, PA. Merge Dance Studio, “Where Dance and Fitness Merge”, will be the first dance studio of its kind in Manayunk.

Tori Lawrence + Co. is excited to announce that their dance installation, Awakened Ruins, will be presented during the opening of The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. The performance will take place on Monday, May 28 at 9AM.

CROSS-RHYTHMS – An Evening of Tap Dance, will be presented one night only on June 8, 2012 at the Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine Street, Philadelphia, PA. Produced by tap dancer and choreographer Pamela Hetherington.

On Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm, MM2 Modern Dance will be performing at Grounds For Sculpture as part of their Anniversary Arts Party. The annual celebration offers a host of activities and events for all ages.

On Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 8pm, MM2 Modern Dance Company will present a preview of their new season work, Conversations, a dialog in movement, at Chi Movement Arts Center, 1316 S 9th St., Philadelphia.

On April 14, 2012 at 7:30PM, Studio 34 will present JUXTaPOSE as a part of its Second Saturdays Series. JUXTaPOSE is a performance series curated by Jaamil Olawale Kosoko, and produced by James Peniston, the Co-Founder of Studio 34.

The final performances of the Jeanne Ruddy Dance company will take place May 10-12 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, home of the Philadelphia Theatre Compnay on Broad & Lombard Sts. in Philadelphia.

Indigenous Pitch Dance will present six evenings of dance entitled Reflexions. Works are indicative of the outreach IPDC has done in Haiti, North Philly and New Orleans with children traumatized by natural and/or sociology-economic disasters.

The Schuylkill Valley Regional Dance Company will be showcasing Jazzerella, written and directed by Artistic Director Michelle Jones Wurtz; taking place at the Hill School Center for the Arts on April 21st at 7:30pm as well as on April 22nd at 2pm.

Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (KYL/D) is pleased to announce its 2012 home season show featuring the Philadelphia premiere of “Beyond the Bones” at The Painted Bride Art Center in Philadelphia on March 29, 30 and 31, 2012 at 8pm.

The inaugural season of Roger Lee Dance kicks off on April 20th and 21st with three performances at The Performance Garage in Philadelphia, PA.

Photographer Brian Mengini, is bringing his emotional series, empoweredME, to the Phoenix Village Arts Center, 209 Bridge St Phoenixville beginning Friday March 2nd with a First Friday reception in the artist’s studio on the 2nd floor from 6-9.
